Samsung dryer is vibrating or shaking

As long as your Samsung dryer is installed on a level and solid surface, and you haven't overloaded it, then you can try leveling your dryer to prevent it from vibrating or shaking. This will secure the dryer so it operates the way it should.

Samsung dryer is vibrating or shaking

1
Use the dryer on a level, solid surface only.
A solid foundation is necessary, or the dryer will not be stable.
2
Make sure the dryer is not overloaded.
An overloaded dryer can create problems. Excessive weight could cause it to struggle, leading it to shift and vibrate. You can refer to our load side recommendations for assistance.
3
Level the dryer.

Retract the leveling feet completely, and then use a carpenter's level to check which feet need adjusting. Adjust them with a wrench.

When leveling the dryer, the leveling feet should only extend the minimum amount necessary. If the legs are too long, the dryer may still vibrate, even if the top is level.

If needed, refer to your model’s user manual for instructions.

4
Request service.
If your dryer is still vibrating or shaking after following the above steps, visit our Support Center to request service.
