Change the PIN on your Samsung TV

You must create a PIN during the initial setup process for your Samsung TV. This step cannot be skipped. However, you can change your PIN from the Settings menu once your TV has been set up. You can also reset your PIN using the remote control.

Change the PIN on your Samsung TV

Note

The following instructions apply to 2025 Samsung TVs, projectors, and smart monitors.

Open General & Privacy settings.

From the TV’s Home screen, navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select General & Privacy.

Change your PIN.

Select Change PIN. Enter your current PIN. Then, enter your new PIN twice. Your new PIN will be saved.

Reset your PIN.

If you have forgotten your PIN, you can reset it using the TV’s remote control. Make sure the TV is turned on, and then press the following buttons on the remote control:

+/- (Volume) > Volume Up > Return > Volume Down > Return > Volume Up > Return

This will reset your PIN to “0000.”
