Galaxy Tab S6 Lite screen has yellow tint

A Samsung tablet with a yellow tinted screen like the blue light filter

The built-in blue light filter uses a feature of Samsung's advanced image processor to filter the screen with minimal impact on performance and battery. Some Galaxy TabS6 Lite's may still have a yellow tint to the screen, even with the blue light filter disabled.

  1. Make sure the blue light filter is disabled.

Open Settings, tap Display, and then tap Blue light filter. Make sure that the switch for Blue light filter is turned off.

  2. Check for a software update.

This issue will be fixed in an upcoming software update. When the update is released your tablet will notify you, or you can manually check for updates at any time.

  3. Restart your tablet.

If there is no software update available a quick reboot will restore the screen to normal.

Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick settings and then tap the Power icon. Tap Restart, and then tap Restart again.
